NamibraPay

Subaccounts

Run a marketplace, agency or franchise? Register each seller as a subaccount and NamibraPay splits every collection automatically — your commission first, the seller's share to their subaccount.

Create a subaccount

POST/api/v1/merchant/subaccounts
Register a seller, agent or branch that receives a share of your collections.

Authenticates with your API keys.

Body parameters

ParameterDescription
businessNamerequiredstringDisplay name of the subaccount, e.g. the seller's shop.
percentageChargerequirednumberPercentage of each split transaction retained by YOU (the parent); the remainder goes to the subaccount. E.g. 80 means the subaccount keeps 80%.
curl -X POST "https://api.namibrapay.com/api/v1/merchant/subaccounts" \
  -H "X-API-Key: pk_test_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" \
  -H "X-API-Secret: sk_test_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "businessName": "Kofi's Kiosk",
    "percentageCharge": 90

}

Split a collection

Pass the subaccount's id as subaccountId on a collection. The split is applied automatically: your percentageCharge stays with the parent account and the rest is attributed to the subaccount.

curl -X POST "https://api.namibrapay.com/api/v1/transactions/collect" \
  -H "X-API-Key: pk_test_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" \
  -H "X-API-Secret: sk_test_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{

    "currency": "GHS",
    "channel": "mtn_momo",
    "payerIdentifier": "+233241234567",
    "reference": "ORDER-90041",
